Auto Charging
  • High-Efficiency Switch-Mode Charging: Designed to minimize heat and energy loss, the switch-mode architecture delivers stable DC output even when AC input voltage fluctuates.
  • Advanced Multistage Charging: The charger automatically switches between bulk, absorption, float and AutoBoost modes to ensure faster recovery after discharge and maintain long-term battery health.
  • Low Ripple Output: Produces less than 1% ripple, protecting VRLA, AGM, Gel and wet-cell batteries from damage caused by unstable or noisy charging signals.
  • AutoBoost Cell Equalization: Automatically increases charge voltage for a set duration to balance battery cells. Helps restore lost capacity without the risk of overcharging.
  • Temperature-Compensated Charging: When used with a remote sensor, the charger adjusts output voltage based on the surrounding temperature, preventing under-charging in cold conditions or over-charging in high heat.
  • Flexible 12V/24V Operation: Supports both 12-volt and 24-volt systems, making the Sentinel 300P suitable for a wide range of industrial, marine and standby applications.
  • Configurable Through Links or Software: Users can set charge voltage, battery type and operational behavior using onboard DIP switches or PC configuration software.
  • Built-In Alarms & Relay Outputs: Includes relay outputs for AC failure, low battery voltage, high battery voltage and charge failure, enabling integration with control panels and safety systems.
  • RS485 Communication Standard: Provides a reliable data interface for remote monitoring or integration with supervisory systems.
  • Marine Engine Starting Systems: Ensures consistent charging for vessel starter batteries exposed to vibration, salt, humidity and long operational hours.
  • Oil & Gas Pump Engines: Offers dependable charging performance for pump engines and remote oilfield equipment where reliability and safety are critical.
  • Industrial Control Panels: Maintains backup battery power for automation systems, hydraulic controls, electrical panels and mission-critical machinery.
  • Standby & Emergency Generators: Keeps generator starter batteries fully charged so engines can crank immediately during a power outage.
  • Mobile & Heavy-Duty Equipment: Suitable for construction machinery, service vehicles, cranes and equipment that rely on 12V or 24V batteries.
  • Remote Monitoring Stations: Ideal for field installations requiring continuous charging for communication equipment, sensors and telemetry units.
  • Industrial Battery Racks & Backup Systems: Maintains optimal charge levels in battery banks used for emergency shutdown systems, compressors and safety equipment.

How the Sentinel 300P Series Works

The Sentinel 300P Series uses a high-efficiency switch-mode power design to convert AC input into a clean, stable DC charging output. Once connected to the battery bank, the charger automatically evaluates the battery condition and selects the appropriate charging stage — bulk, absorption, float or AutoBoost.

During normal operation, the charger supplies a constant voltage and regulated current to maintain the battery in optimal condition. If the battery level drops or becomes unbalanced, the AutoBoost function temporarily increases voltage to equalize the cells without causing over-charging.

With the optional temperature sensor, the charger continuously adjusts voltage based on ambient conditions. This ensures accurate charging in both cold and hot environments. Built-in relays and alarms provide real-time feedback for AC failure, low battery voltage, high voltage and charge issues, making the Sentinel 300P suitable for mission-critical applications.
