How the WHB Series Shutdown Panels Works

The WHB Series Shutdown Panel continuously monitors key engine parameters—primarily oil pressure and coolant or oil temperature—using Swichgage® instruments. These gauges combine real-time indication with built-in limit switches that trigger automatic shutdown when readings move outside safe operating levels.

During operation, the magnetic switch receives input from the Swichgages. If low oil pressure or excessive temperature is detected, the switch activates the shutdown circuit, stopping the engine to prevent major mechanical damage. The PB128S emergency stop button provides an additional layer of operator safety, enabling immediate manual shutdown whenever necessary.

Optional accessories such as voltmeters, hour meters, and fuel shut-off solenoids integrate seamlessly with the panel, allowing tailored configurations for irrigation, pumping, or industrial engine applications.
